Traffic Runs Slower
Heavy rain on Mombasa Road and the routes around JKIA can add real delays to airport transfers. Build in extra buffer time on both ends of your trip during these months rather than cutting it close.
Ask About Backup Power and Drainage
Heavy rain can occasionally affect power in parts of Nairobi. Confirm the property has backup power (many do) and, if you are on a ground floor unit, ask whether the compound has had any flooding issues in past rainy seasons.
